Interim Evaluation Workshop in the scope of Town Twinning between Turkey and the EU (TWIN) ended on May 03, 2019.
Performance indicators, verifiable indicators and sustainability concept were discussed during the morning session of the Workshop, which started on May 2, 2019 and lasted for 2 days. Round table activities were carried out during the afternoon session of the first day of the Workshop. The participants conducted evaluation activities at the tables separated according to the project subjects.
Sustainability and effectiveness were the topics of the Workshop’s second and last days. Cemal Bas, Project and Finance Manager from the Union of Municipalities of Turkey, made a speech about the future of the town twinning programme during the morning session of the second day of the Workshop and received the feedback on that subject from the participants. At the end of this session, an interactive expectation survey was conducted, and the results of the survey were evaluated. During the other sessions of the day, short presentations were made about the projects under the Town Twinning Between Turkey and EU Grant Scheme and information about the sustainability and effectiveness planning, studies performed up to this date from the beginning date of the projects were provided. The Workshop ended following the questions and answers session.
