The last two days of the study visit to Belgium and The Netherlands within the scope of Town Twinning between Turkey and the EU (TWIN) Project was spent in The Hague, The Netherlands. On the fourth day of the programme, April 18th, 2019, the study visit team was visit the Embassy of Turkey in The Hague. Afterwards, the study visit team was visit the Municipality of Schiedam, which contributes to enable sustainable communities with smart land-use and which is crowned as the City of Schiedam with URBACT Good Practice City label thanks to “Schiedam in Motion”. Subsequent to this visit, discussions was held with the municipality of Den Bosch, which has a deep-rooted history in initiating and maintaining European networks and projects. The study visit team was informed on the successful works accomplished by both municipalities and on the experiences acquired to date.
