The study visit to Belgium and The Netherlands within the scope of Town Twinning between Turkey and the EU (TWIN) Project continued in Brussels. The second day of the programme, April 16th, 2019, started with the visit to be made to the European Committee of the Regions (CoR). During this visit, the TWIN study visit team informed on the EU regional policies as well as on regional development, structural changes and funds supporting alignment activities.
The second visit of the day made to POLIS (Cities and Regions for Transport Innovation), which is a network of cities committed to introducing cleaner, better transport in Europe and beyond. POLIS authorities informed the study visit team of 10 thematic areas related to sustainable urban transport and mobility.
