Objective of the Project

•To increase the capacity with regards to data management, mobility and access to migration related financial opportunities for the local governments.

Activities / Outputs
 
•A situation analysis study on Syrian refugees living in the camps in Gaziantep and near cities will be conducted including such information as updated data on the number of migrants, their employment status , their contribution to the economy of the cities and their overall cost for the municipality.
•Technical meetings will be conducted on four high priority topics to be selected following the results of the Situation Analysis Report.
•Technical and study visits will be organised with participation of Silk Road Development Agency to share the findings of situation analysis and share experience on migration and refugee issues.
•Four workshops will be held as technical meetings on policy of migration.
•A Reference Tool comprising data management, mobility and access to migration related finance for the local governments will be developed.
•A short film will be produced on the status of refugees in Turkey.
•A conference and a closing event will be organised in Gaziantep at the end of the project to share findings of the Situation Analysis Report on Refugees.
