Objective of the Project 

•To increase the capacities of the local administrations/authorities to implement migration management policies,
•To reinforce the role of local administrations/authorities in EU integration process, 

Activities / Outputs 

•Two needs analysis will be conducted on needs and problems of the migrants and refugees living in Molise Region of Italy and in Turkey. Two-thousand people from Izmir and one-thousand people from Molise will be interviewed within the scope of this study.
•“Local Authorities and Migration Management Policies” Symposium will be organised with the participation of local representatives from municipalities and district governorships, universities, NGOs, Chambers, etc. 
•Mutual study visits will be made to study and observe each other’s’ services towards the migrants and refugees.
•A Migration Management Policy document will be prepared after the evaluation of findings of study visits, symposiums and need analyses by the experts.
•A sister city agreement will be signed between the project partners.
A Town Twinning platform will be established in Izmir and an interactive online platform will be set up for exchange of ideas and enhancing institutions’ capacities.
