Objective of the Project 

•To ensure citizens’ active participation on decision making at a local level,
•To raise public awareness on urban green spaces benefits through communication activities.

Activities / Outputs

•A workshop on the social innovation will be organised with contributions from ANTIGONE, project partner, which has successfully implemented the project “GROWL” concerning exchange of best practices on the urban green areas.
•Pilot demonstrations of social innovation activities will be organised at the selected public green areas by the Akdeniz Municipality and Delta Municipality to raise public awareness in the importance of participatory management issues.  
•Mutual study visits will be made within the scope of Urban Green Spaces and Urban Forestry themes. 
•Partnership agreements are expected to be signed between project partners.
•On the communication aspect of the project, information panels on the role of public urban greens spaces in urban life will be organised, newsletters will be released, and a website will be developed to share the most recent information on the project.
