To Provide New Opportunities Project Reference Number: TTGS/108 Coordinator Beneficiary: Tavşanlı District Governorship Co-Beneficiary(ies): Association "Promotion of Employment"-Bulgaria – Municipality of Maritsa-Bulgaria Location(s) of the action: Tavşanlı-Turkey – Maritsa-Bulgaria Duration: 10 Months Total Budget: 108.606,80 Euro Objective of the Project •To enhance and develop the interaction and cooperation between local administrations in Turkey and Bulgaria, •To expand the role of local administration and contribute to achieve the goals for sustainable development at local level. Activities / Outputs •Seminars, meetings and study visits will be organized on the effects of studies conducted during the process of becoming a member of the EU, in the field of local governance and social policy. •A strategy for long-term partnership will be developed to enhance and strengthen the current relations among the project partners will be composed on the basis of best practice exchange. •In order to encourage dialogue and interaction between local administrations and civil society organisations, four workshops will be organized in Turkey and Bulgaria. •An internet platform offering usage in Turkish, Bulgarian and English languages will be developed which will cover several services for the benefit of citizens in both countries. •Local informative conferences will be held with a great number of participation to raise the awareness in terms of the opportunities offered by the e-platform which was developed to share the good practices.
