Objective of the Project 

•To encourage partnership and cooperation between local authorities, NGOs, business organisations and academia 
•To enhance capacity of the local authorities, NGOs, business organisations and academia in practical methodologies for introduction of financial instruments and initiatives to social development.
 
Activities / Outputs 

•A Kick–Off Meeting will be organised in Osmaniye with participation of Sofia Municipality and Association of European Perspectives to raise awareness in terms of developing a mutual understanding for the importance of exchange of know-how for local and regional public administrations.
•A need analysis will be conducted to identify topics for the training of trainers (ToT). On the basis of the findings of this study, a 5-day training for trainers’ seminar will be held in Sofia. 
•During this seminar to be attended by 25 participants from Turkey, EU policy for integration, EU institutions, EU programmes, financial instruments for supporting local and regional development, SMEs, start-ups, innovation and digital economy as well as municipal guarantee fund will be covered.
•The trainers participating ToT seminar will then deliver the same programme through 3-day training seminars to the stakeholders in each district/municipality of Osmaniye.
•Project stakeholders, representatives of government organizations, media and other related organisations and institutions will meet in a Closure Conference set agreement for future cooperation in order to maintain the know-how and experience exchange.
