Strengthening Town Twinning via Sustainable Tourism with Participatory Approach in Kuşadası and in Sinaia

Objective of the Project
 
•To develop cooperation between Kuşadası and Sinaia provinces via constituting a participating approach in sustainable tourism.
•To improve capacity of local stakeholders and civil society organisations in town twinning relations and international cooperation. 

Activities / Outputs
 
•A Town Twinning and International Cooperation Training, a Project Management Training and a Gender Mainstreaming Training programme will be conducted in Kuşadası whereas a Sustainable Tourism Training programme will be conducted in Sinaia. 
•Booklets including best practices will be produced on education and they will be shared with local stakeholders.
•Mutual study visits will be made between Kuşadası and Sinaia municipalities and the capacity in terms of Sustainable Tourism will be provided through the trainings.
•SWOT analyses to enhance the relations on sustainable tourism among Kuşadası, Sinaia, Cluj and Söke municipalities will be conducted in Turkey and Romania. 
•A meeting on Sustainable Tourism will be organized in Kuşadası with the participation of leading institutions of these partner towns and a Memorandum of Understanding on Sustainable Tourism will be signed.
